After serving several years in prison, Fong (Yia Mua) is finally released and returns to his hometown in search of his ex-girlfriend, his true love Pa Ying (Houa Lee) and the friends that betrayed him and sent him behind bars. Meanwhile, Pa Ying has tried to find a way to move on with her new love: Xiong (Dao Vue). Caught up in a dark underworld, Pa Ying is constantly hiding from her mom's loan shark, coping with the consequences of her mom's opium addiction and trying to hide the truth from Xiong.
